Brandon Norsted is based in Madison, Wisconsin and is currently completing his MFA at the University of Wisconsin.  His work ranges from straight-ahead design oriented furniture pieces to conceptually driven furniture-like objects. The tenuous space between the practicality of furniture and the apparent uselessness of the conceptual object is the starting place for most of his pieces.
